Active since 2003 in the field of visual arts, Conceicao-Rivet Rivet has an MFA in Visual Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal. Her work is part of private and public collections (BANQ, Loto-Québec, Bank of Montreal). In 2018, her most recent solo exhibition, La rencontre des masses: études et prototypes, was presented at Centre d’art Diane-Dufresne (Repentigny) after having taken place in Montreal (Maison de la culture Frontenac, 2015), Trois -Rivières (R3 gallery of Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, 2016) and Ottawa (Orléans gallery, 2016). She received grants from SODEC (2013 and 2016), as well as two research-creation fellowships from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (2010, 2012). In 2019, she received support from the Conseil des arts de Longueuil for her research project, Chercher à effacer la lumière, which aims to test the potential of glass as a creative material in sculpture.
She has been teaching visual arts at the college level since 2017.
