Active in the visual arts since 2003, Conceicao-Rivet has an MFA in Visual Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2010, she received a research-creation fellowship from the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (CALQ), a residency in CALQ's studio-apartment in Finland in 2012, and a production grant from SODEC in 2013 and 2016. Her work is part of private and public collections (BANQ, Loto-Québec, Bank of Montreal) and has been presented at Circa and Arprim artist-run centers (Montreal, 2011). In 2015-2016, her most recent solo exhibition, La rencontre des masses : études et prototypes (Maison de la culture Frontenac, 2015) was presented at Orléans gallery in Ottawa. She participated in the collective exhibition Espace imprimé, espace ouvert, curated by Émilie Granjon, which took take place at the Maison de la culture du Plateau Mont-Royal (2016) for the 50th anniversary of Atelier Graff.

Since 2008, she works with students from the École des arts visuels et médiatiques at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM).
